Umi Nakajima continues to take advantage of Tsukasa Domyoji's amnesia and tags along on the trip to the mountains. Tsukasa and Tsukushi Makino get lost in the snowstorm, and finally remembers her. At Tsukushi's prom, Tsukasa proposes to her as their friends congratulate them.
Tsukushi uses the proverb "hana yori dango" (花よりだんご,"hana yori dango" , lit. "dumplings over flowers"), meaning "someone who prefers practical gain to aesthetics".[2] It is also a reference to the title of the show, which gets its name from the proverb.
