Hana Yori Dango Final (花より男子ファイナル (はなよりだんごファイナル) Hana Yori Dango Fainaru) is the novelization of the film, Hana Yori Dango Final based on the screenplay by Mikio Satake and Yoko Kamio. It was written by novelist, Kanae Shimokawa and published in Japan by Shueisha on June 28, 2008.


Tsukasa Domyoji and Tsukushi Makino announce their engagement to the entire world. A tiara, which is proof of their betrothal, winds up stolen. The two travel around the world to retrieve the tiara.[1]


Kanae Shimokawa (下川 香苗 (しもかわ かなえ) Shimokawa Kanae, born 1964 in Gifu, Japan) is a Japanese author, best known for her novelization work. Shimokawa won the Rookie Award in 1984 for Shueisha's Cobalt magazine and published her debut work, Yuyake-iro no Rabureta (夕やけ色のラブレター () ) with Shueisha.

She has novelized many of Ai Yazawa's works, including Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai and Gokinjo Monogatari. Other manga series Shimokawa has novelized are Kimi ni Todoke, My Love Story!!, and Yoko Kamio's Cat Street, among others.
