Hana Yori Dango Step Up English Book (花より男子 ステップアップ英語BOOK) is an English communication skills book by Kogyoku Ikeda with the cooperation of Yoko Kamio. It was published on July 16, 2010 by Shueisha.

The book utilizes images and situations from the manga in order to help the reader learn English.

The book includes a preface and five chapters with one of the chapters inspired by the time Tsukasa Domyoji went to New York.[2] It includes a CD for pronunciation and comes recommended by Mao Inoue, who played Tsukushi Makino in Hana Yori Dango.[3]

Author

Kogyoku Ikeda[4] (池田 紅玉 (いけだ こうぎょく) Ikeda Kōgyoku, born 1951) is a Nihon University and California State University graduate and English lecturer. She worked at Harvard University as a visiting reasearcher for a time. Ikeda returned to Japan in 1996 and taught at Aoyama Gakuin University, Nihon University, etc.[1]

She has published thirty books from 1986 to 2014 about the English language. Some of them also use manga, such as Chibi Maruko-chan and Dr. Slump, as a tool to help the reader learn.
