Lee Min-ha (이민하)[1] is the brother of Lee Jae-ha and a former student at Shinhwa High school. He was severely bullied as a result of the F4's red card.

Biography

Lee Min-ha angered the F4 at some point, causing him to receive a red card or the F4's "declaration of war". The other students at Shinhwa School bullied and beat him severely. Min-ha made his way to the roof and threatened to jump. Geum Jan-di visited the school to deliver his dry cleaning. She saved his life by catching him before he could fall to his death.[2]

Behind the scenes

  • Min-ha first appeared in episode 1 of Boys Over Flowers. He was portrayed by Jung Eui-chul, who also played Min-ha's brother, Lee Jae-ha.
  • Lee Min-ha is a new version of the original minor character, Kimoto from the manga. However, they share only one similarity, being bullied as a result of angering the F4.
  • The character, Shahid from Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan was inspired by Min-ha. On the show, Shahid threatens to jump off the school roof after the "Fab 5" (F4) upload an embarrassing video of him online. He was saved by Nandini Murthy (played by Niti Taylor), who is the Geum Jan-di equivalent in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. Shahid was portrayed by Indian actor, Pulkit Bangia.[3]
