Meteor Garden II (Chinese: 流星花園II; pinyin: Liúxīng Huāyuán II) is a sequel to the hit Taiwanese drama, Meteor Garden. Unlike the first series, the sequel is an original story and is not based the manga, Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio. It was produced by Angie Chai.[1] The series aired on CTS in 2002[2] for thirty-one episodes.[3]
The drama starred returning actors Barbie Hsu, Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Vanness Wu with new addition Michelle Saram.[4] After the premiere of Meteor Garden in 2001, Yan, Chou, Chu, and Wu formed the F4,[5] and performed the two theme songs of the sequel.[6]

The theme songs for the drama were "Jue Bu Neng Shi Qu Ni" ("Can't Lose You") and "Yan Huo De Ji Jie" ("Season of Fireworks") by the F4. Both songs were included on the Meteor Garden II Original Soundtrack, which was released on December 20, 2002. Edward Ou also contributed a track, while rest of the soundtrack consisted of English love songs.
