Margaret 50th Anniversary Exhibition

My Margaret Exhibition (わたしのマーガレット展 () Watashi no Māgaretto-ten) was a series of events held in Japan that showcased the history of the shojo manga magazine, Margaret. The first exhibits were originally held as Margaret 50th Anniversary Exhibition (マーガレット50周年展 () ) during 2013 to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Margaret.[1] The exhibition closed the "My Margaret" website and social media accounts after the Nagoya exhibit on May 28, 2016.[2][3] A special edition of the exhibit was held for four days in June 2016 in Sendai.[4]

Manga series from Margaret and its sister magazine, Bessatsu Margaret, were showcased at the exhibits. This includes several popular manga, such as Attack No. 1, Switch Girl!!, Itazura na Kiss, The Rose of Versailles, Boys Over Flowers, Love Com, Kimi ni Todoke, High School Debut, and My Love Story!!.[1][5][6]

The events provided a variety of special features, such as a statue depicting characters from the The Rose of Versailles and a "Kaleidoscope Theater" featuring moments from the manga series in Margaret.[7] Many items related to Boys Over Flowers were available for purchase, including the Saturn necklace.[8]
