Ryo Kimura (木村 了 (きむら りょう) Kimura Ryō, born September 23, 1988 in Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese actor. He is known for his roles in Nodame Cantabile, Hanazakari no Kimtachi e, and Otomen. Kimura portrayed Junpei Oribe in Hana Yori Dango: The Musical during early 2016.


Early life

Ryo Kimura was born the youngest of three brothers on September 23, 1988 in Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan.


He made his acting debut in Flow's music video for "Blaster" in 2003. Kimura began appearing in films with 2004's Moonlight Jellyfish, co-starring with Tatsuya Fujiwara. Kimura appeared on stage for the first time with 2012's Lychee Light Club. In 2016, he costarred alongside Yuya Matsushita in Hana Yori Dango: The Musical.
